The Importance of 1st and 2nd Thessalonians

We are starting 2024 with a new series on St. Paul’s epistles to the Thessalonians. Page by page, you’ll learn an abundance of biblical prophecy from these two short epistles (Thessalonians is only eight chapters).

Here is a list of the top things you will learn about biblical prophecy by studying these two epistles:

  •  What you need to know about the rapture.
  •  Will believers escape all tribulation?
  • What happens after a Christian dies?
  •  What happens to Christians at the second coming of Christ?
  •  What or who is the restrainer of the Antichrist? A question that has puzzled some of the best minds in the history of the church.
  •  What is the worldwide apostasy, the Great Apostasy?
  • Is there any connection between the Church and Old Testament Israel?
  •  Is Christ’s kingdom a present reality? Or is it something strictly in the future?

One of the things that forms a person’s morals, reasoning, and understanding of life is called a worldview. The Catechism of the Catholic Church states that to have a worldview, you need to know your origin and destiny. You need to know where you come from and where you are going: your beginning and your end.

We are trying to help remove the fog that obscures what the Bible teaches about the end times so that parents, children, and young adults can clearly understand what is predicted in the Scriptures. So, we hope you will open your Bible and join us in this important and exciting study of Scripture.
